Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: October 5, 2026

This policy explains how Storyly subscriptions work, how to cancel and how refunds are handled.

1. How subscriptions work

Paid plans (Creator, Pro and Business) are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and include a set number of video generations per billing period. The Free plan has no charge.

2. When you can cancel

You can cancel at any time from Settings → Manage Subscription, which opens the secure Stripe customer portal.

3. What happens after cancellation

Your paid plan and remaining credits stay active until the end of the current billing period. After that, your account moves to the Free plan. Your stories, characters and series remain in your account.

4. Renewal billing

Unless canceled, your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period and your card is charged the then-current plan price. Credits reset at each renewal. If a payment fails, you will be asked to update your payment method.

5. General refund rules

Canceling a subscription stops future renewals; it does not automatically mean an immediate refund for the current period. Payments already made are generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or where we decide otherwise at our discretion (for example duplicate charges or billing errors).

Failed video generations do not cost credits: the reserved credit is restored automatically.

6. Statutory rights

If you are a consumer, you may have mandatory rights (such as a withdrawal right) under the law of your country. Where applicable, these rights take precedence over this policy.

7. Requesting a refund

Contact [SUPPORT EMAIL] with your account email and the charge date. See also Contact & Support.

This document is provided for general information and does not guarantee legal compliance in every jurisdiction. Mandatory consumer rights under the law that applies to you are not affected.
